Gems4friends in Japanese?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Judging by some of the email I get it seems that one or two of the people on this list don’t speak English as their first language! Shocking! (just kidding)

Anyway, I’ve just installed a script on gems4friends that might be of use to those of you who are multi-lingual. It’s a translator script and will translate the site into Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.

It’s not the same as the blog script, this one works with regular web pages. See it on the top right corner of the home page.

Oh yeah, it does English, too. ;)

Being that my knowledge of other languages is somewhat less than (insert least favorite politician here)’s IQ I don’t speak any of these other languages (although my son is making good progress with Japanese.)

For all I know the script might change the pages to something
to do with hovercraft, eels, and dog noises.

So if the script works well, or doesn’t, and you want to say something about it feel free to write a comment on the blog.

If you want the script for your site, then go here

I checked the tranlated version (in Japanese). It is ok.I mean it is very much direct tranlation. Some of the sentenses got mixed up with Verb and Adv. or Adj. so it is a bit anoying.
Other than that, overall, it is a good software. If you ever want to register your site in other languages, I think non- English speaker are able to understand your site with this multiligual software.
