May is here and spring is finally arriving in Spokane WA. We’re starting to see some green here which is, of course, a perfect match for the May birthstone, the Emerald.

Of course, Mother’s Day is coming up on the 11th and birthstones make excellent Mother’s Day gifts, especially if her birthday is also in May.
