How Gestault Therapy Works for You

From the Wellness Diary comes a post regarding Gestault Therapy. This is a friendlier approach to therapy than some other forms one might encounter.

Gestalt therapy is not a new type of therapy, but for some it may help more than traditional approaches in therapy.  Going to a psychologist or psychiatrist can be frustrating for some people because they feel that they are simply just talking about their feelings without ever working anything out.  Gestalt therapy is a more holistic approach to therapy where you take a different approach to understanding how you think and feel right now in the present moment rather than you did when you were younger.  It is a much gentler way of approaching therapy, and one way that some people really can take too.

    I would love to be a Gestalt Therapist, but there is nowhere in NSW Australia to go to learn. I did Gestalt Therapy over 20 years ago and it was the most helpful form of therapy that I have ever been involved in.
